Project Manager
A high-level project manager is needed to oversee civil and earthmoving operations for a growing contractor in Western Australia.
* Leadership & Management:
o Lead a team of operators and supervisors on FIFO basis, driving efficiency and productivity.
o Report directly to the General Manager, ensuring seamless communication.
* Clients Relations & Business Development:
o Act as primary liaison between company and major mining clients, fostering strong relationships.
o Identify and pursue new opportunities on mine sites, leveraging market trends.
o Build and maintain long-term client relationships, increasing revenue streams.
* Critical Technical & Commercial:
o Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for earthmoving projects using various equipment, enhancing profitability.
o Manage complex civil and earthmoving operations, minimizing risks and maximizing returns.
o Maintain haul roads and transport infrastructure, ensuring smooth logistics.
* Operations Management:
o Oversee fleet operations, including graders, rollers, watercarts, excavators, dozers, Moxy trucks, and diggers, optimizing performance.
o Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in civil and earthmoving project management, with a strong background in mining/resources sector projects. They should be able to work in remote locations and have advanced knowledge of earthmoving equipment operations, leveraging their expertise to drive business success.
Benefits
* $180,000 – $220,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience), providing a competitive salary package.
