The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Systems Administrator to join our team at the Site Support Office in Essendon.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our core business applications.
The ideal candidate is a highly organised individual with a proven ability to execute tasks with precision, particularly in managing software updates and user access according to specific instructions.
You will be a key player in ensuring our systems run smoothly, enabling our frontline staff to deliver exceptional experiences to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
User Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end user lifecycle across multiple platforms, including user onboarding, role changes, permission adjustments, and offboarding in a timely and accurate manner.
Product Configuration: Assist in the setup and configuration of new products, services, and pricing structures within our core business systems as directed.
Technical Support: Act as an escalation point for system-related support queries, troubleshooting issues related to user access, system performance, and application errors.
Data Integrity & Auditing: Perform regular system health checks and audits to ensure data integrity, security compliance, and optimal performance.
Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for system processes, user guides, and administrative tasks.
Vendor Liaison: Communicate with software vendors to log support tickets and coordinate the resolution of technical issues.
General System Administration: Perform a variety of ad-hoc system administration tasks to support the wider IT team and business operations.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Experience)
Essential
Proven experience in a Systems Administrator, Application Support, or similar IT role.
Demonstrable experience managing software systems, including performing updates, patches, and configuration changes.
An exceptional ability to follow detailed technical instructions and standard operating procedures with a high degree of accuracy.
Solid experience with user account administration (e.g., creating accounts, managing permissions, and group policies).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive and organised approach to managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Highly Desirable (But Not Essential)
Direct experience with leisure management software such as Links, iClass or Perfect Gym.
Previous experience working within the leisure, fitness, or hospitality industry.
