Our facility will serve customers across North and South America and beyond, accommodating all current Falcon models, including the new ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, the largest purpose-built business jet, capable of performing major maintenance and modifications on up to 18 Falcon models.Dassault Falcon Jet in Melbourne, Florida is seeking a full-time Weekend Shift Aircraft Maintenance Technician in 2025.
You will work as part of an assigned hangar team comprising Maintenance Technicians and Quality Inspectors, supporting planned aircraft maintenance projects at the Dassault Service Center.
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems on all Falcon Jet corporate aircraft models.
An 8% shift differential will be paid for weekend shift work.Responsibilities:Present yourself professionally in appearance and conduct during interactions with customers, guests, and co-workers.Perform tasks efficiently and to quality standards, utilizing applicable technical data for maintenance, inspection, servicing, lubrication, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, fueling, and de-fueling.Familiarize yourself with the Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual relevant to your duties.Work efficiently by effectively utilizing available resources.Possess knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, especially CFR parts 43, 91, 135, and 145 as required.Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms according to established methods.Support Aircraft Crew Chief with shift turnover requirements.Collaborate with the Customer Project Supervisor to meet on-time and on-budget work scope objectives.Provide services and deliverables that meet or exceed customer satisfaction expectations.Maintain good housekeeping practices following the 5S system.Focus on Human Factors and aim for zero defects in workmanship and safety.Follow company rules, safety policies, and standard operating procedures.Support the company's mission and vision by achieving departmental goals.Perform other duties as required.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.FAA Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.At least three (3) years of experience in business jet maintenance, preferably on Falcon aircraft.APU Operation qualification.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.Lift up to 50 pounds.No allergies to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids, or cleaning solvents.Ability to work and bend in confined spaces.Manual dexterity required for technical work.Ability to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs.Proficiency with computers and aircraft software.FAA Inspection Authorization (desired).Completion of at least one Falcon Initial Maintenance School (desired).Engine Run & Taxi qualification on business jet aircraft, preferably Falcon (desired).Perks that Soar Above: Joining our team means more than just a paycheck.
