Base Salary HEO8 $131,108 - $147,858 p.a. + 17% superannuation.
About the opportunity
The University of Sydney is welcoming applications for an experienced and motivated Project Manager, Operational Readiness to join the Central Operations Services team and utilise your project management, facilitation and collaboration skills across multiple projects to achieve operational readiness of new and refurbished university spaces.
The Project Manager, Operational Readiness, will be expected to prepare project charters and resource plans, and to develop and execute comprehensive plans to support the timely delivery of milestones and achieve project objectives.
A key requirement of the role of Project Manager, Operational Readiness is to build and manage strong relationships, facilitating effective communication, collaboration and engagement across multiple initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Provide support and project management advice on operational readiness activation for specified infrastructure projects
* Manage the development and implementation of project plans to meet operational readiness objectives
* Implement project governance and reporting procedures to monitor operational readiness project delivery
* Manage project stakeholders and collaborate with project teams to ensure that project deliverables and milestones are achieved
* Provide project financial management support to the Project Director Operational Director as requested with respect to operational readiness project budgets
* Undertake other duties and projects appropriate within the classification level as required
About you
* Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
* Experience managing multiple diverse internal and external stakeholders
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Demonstrated planning and organisation skills
* Ability to work in a team and collaboratively with others
