ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maternity Manager, NUM, ANUM or an exceptional Midwife, to lead and manage our team of Midwives and EENs who are committed to providing quality care to mothers and families before, during and after their birthing experience.
We have modern facilities which provide a beautiful family-centric environment for our new parents and complement our long-standing reputation as leaders in maternity service.
Our maternity team enjoy the benefits of having our specialist obstetricians all based onsite and have the support of a large group of highly skilled Paediatricians 24 hours a day.
This senior role requires someone who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and who has broad operational management experience to be able to manage our 3 birthing suites, 10 bed post-natal ward and our 4 special care nursery cots. This role will be pivotal in contributing to our aim of increasing our birth numbers to over 600 a year.
The Maternity Manager position is permanent, full-time hours (76 hours per fortnight) based at The Bays Hospital in Mornington.
ABOUT YOU
This dynamic and diverse and highly rewarding role requires you to possess the following skills and attributes:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
* Broad experience at a senior midwifery level
* Demonstrated leadership with proven ability to manage day to day operations and oversee the effective planning and delivery of The Bays Maternity business plan
* An ability to manage a diverse and committed team to achieve positive outcomes
* A post graduate qualification in management and experience within private sector desirable
* Be naturally aligned to our values; integrity, compassion, accountability, respect & excellence
