- Salary: $97,616 - $114,534 per annum
- Salary packaging up to $15,899.94 pa.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Executive Manager Human Resources, the Human Resources Advisor (Employee Relations) is responsible for providing expert guidance and support on employee relations matters across the organisation.
This role ensures compliance with employment laws and internal policies while fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaise with Executive Managers to maintain/update Job Descriptions.
- Advise managers and employees on conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
- Conduct internal investigations into complaints and grievances.
- Provide coaching to managers on employee relations best practices.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and human rights legislation.
- Partner with compliance teams to monitor adherence to organisational policies.
- Utilize a case management approach to resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Track and analyse trends in employee relations data to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and deliver training programs on respectful workplace practices and conflict resolution.
- Mentor junior HR staff and contribute to their professional development.
- Assist with job evaluations and organizational design.
- Support injury management, including return-to-work and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Use HRIS and other systems for tracking applications and generating reports.
- Comply with all Anyinginyi policy and procedures, including use of approved IT programs for electronic data management, including the sharing and advocacy of this information to fellow colleagues.
Required essential skill and experience:
- Respect for and responsiveness to Aboriginal culture and protocols including support for Aboriginal self-determination.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR or employee relations roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired knowledge and qualification:
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
- Industrial/Employee relations certification
