About the Role
We are seeking a driven, self-directed Digital Content Creator & Marketing Officer to join our home care team on the Gold Coast. This is a unique dual-function role combining hands-on content creation with strategic marketing execution. You will be responsible for shaping and amplifying our brand story across all digital channels, generating meaningful engagement within our community, and driving measurable growth in client and carer acquisition.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives without micromanagement, takes full ownership of targets, and understands how to communicate with sensitivity and authenticity in the healthcare and aged care sector.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Content Creation
* Plan, produce, and publish high-quality content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the company website
* Create compelling videos, reels, graphics, photography, blogs, newsletters, and EDMs that reflect the care and values of our organisation
* Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with business priorities, seasonal events, and aged care awareness campaigns
* Ensure all content is accessible, compliant with aged care sector standards, and appropriate for diverse audiences including clients, families, and carers
* Manage and refresh website content using CMS platforms; monitor and improve SEO performance
* Capture real-life stories and testimonials (with appropriate consent) to humanise and differentiate our brand
Marketing Strategy & Execution
* Develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns to drive client and carer leads
* Manage paid advertising campaigns via Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other relevant platforms — with full accountability for budget and ROI
* Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and CRM dashboards
* Identify market opportunities and competitor activity to inform strategy adjustments
* Support business development with marketing collateral, pitch decks, and event promotion materials
* Coordinate with external agencies or contractors where required
Target Management & Reporting
* Set and meet agreed KPIs including engagement rates, follower growth, lead generation volumes, website traffic, and conversion metrics
* Provide regular performance reports to management with data-backed insights and recommendations
* Proactively propose and test new strategies to continuously improve results
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in digital content creation (video, photography, graphic design, copywriting)
* Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in digital marketing, including paid social and/or search advertising
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or similar content creation tools
* Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines without close supervision
* Strong written and verbal communication skills — ability to write with empathy and clarity for a health or community services audience
* Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Squarespace) and basic SEO principles
Desirable Skills & Attributes
* Experience in aged care, disability, home care, or health services marketing
* Familiarity with DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs), Home Care Package, or Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) client audiences
* Understanding of privacy, consent, and ethical content guidelines in healthcare contexts
* Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot, Active Campaign)
* Video editing and production skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
* Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field
