**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an Assistant Project Officer with Public Spaces projects experience to join their growing team in Parramatta with some flexibility to work remotely from home. This an estimated 9month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating Branch workflow and input into Cabinet processes whilst providing administrative support services to achieve the Branch's strategic objectives
In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties
- Manage end to end the flow of information, official correspondence, Cabinet Submissions, requests for advice, policy development, executive/Ministerial briefs and documentation
- Coordinate branch budget through completing financial transactions and reporting
- Complete project planning and coordination to support team priorities
- Schedule and coordinate meetings
- Prepare high level documentation including correspondence, minutes, reports, briefings and Ministerial, Cabinet and Subcommittees
- Coordinate cluster requests for advice and feedback on premiers' priority project
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Records and database management ensuring confidentiality, integrity and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following
- Demonstrated Ministerial or Cabinet Correspondence experience
- Previous project support experience working within a large complex project
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Solid computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
