The Role
This newly created Junior Accountant position is an integral part of a growing finance team.
Working within a supportive and close-knit environment, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day accounts payable and receivable functions and contribute to the smooth running of the business's financial operations.
Responsibilities
Manage the full accounts payable and receivable function
Take ownership of managing expense claims and ensuring accurate data entry
Support the month-end process, including reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
Get involved in a variety of ad hoc finance tasks and team projects
Maintain accurate financial records on Xero.
Your Profile
Prior experience in a similar role, or recently completed accounting/finance studies
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Eager to learn and develop within a supportive team environment
Good organisational and time management skills
Proficiency in Xero and Excel is an advantage
