About the Business
Our Social Policy, Evaluation and Reform team brings together expertise to deliver improvements and policies so DHS can provide the best possible services and programs for the South Australian community. They provide technical leadership in evaluation, project and change management and have responsibility for the state's inclusion agenda including, but not limited to, young people, carers, volunteers and LGBTIQA+
Role Details
The Principal Policy and Programs Officer is a role within Social Inclusion, Policy and Partnerships and is accountable for:
- Providing an expert function based on specialist skills, knowledge and experience to coordinate, facilitate, review and recommend changes to the coordination, structures and delivery of existing and new programs.
- Developing high level strategic advice at departmental, portfolio, whole of government and intergovernmental levels.
- Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and contributing to policy development and projects.
Special Conditions
National Police Check required.Role Status: Term up to 04/04/2027.

Screening Checks
