Anvers Wines is seeking an experienced and polished Restaurant Manager to lead our front‑of‑house team and elevate the dining experience at our multi‑award‑winning Adelaide Hills venue. Following a full rebrand and the 2022 opening of our restaurant and function space, Anvers has quickly become a destination for refined dining, premium wine experiences, weddings, and high‑end events.

About the Role
This is a hands‑on leadership position with responsibility for the overall FOH operation. The Restaurant Manager will drive service excellence, oversee daily operations, train and develop the team, manage reservations and service flow, and uphold the high‑end presentation and reputation of the venue.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all daily restaurant operations with professionalism, warmth, and precision.
* Deliver and uphold consistently high service standards in line with a premium dining environment.
* Train, mentor, and develop FOH staff to ensure polished, confident, and knowledgeable service.
* Manage reservations, floor plans, guest communication, and tailored service experiences.
* Maintain strong communication with the kitchen for seamless service execution.
* Support wine service, including assisting with pairings and staff wine education.
* Oversee FOH stock control, ordering, and inventory.
* Manage venue readiness, presentation standards, and operational procedures.
* Coordinate and oversee private dining, special events, and occasional wedding service.
* Contribute to improvements in systems, processes, and overall guest experience.
* Provide input into menu, wine list, and experience development as required.
* Build rapport with regular guests, Wine Club members, and local tourism partners.
About You
We're seeking a polished, composed hospitality professional who embodies premium service and leads with confidence and authenticity.
What you will bring
* Proven experience in a Restaurant Manager or senior FOH leadership role.
* Background in premium, fine‑Dining, or high‑end hospitality settings.
* Strong leadership, staff training, and service management skills.
* Excellent communication and guest relationship abilities.
* A passion for wine, food, and delivering elevated guest experiences.
* Organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage service calmly and professionally.
* High personal presentation and a warm, genuine interpersonal style.
* Flexibility for weekend work and occasional evening wedding shifts.
* Current RSA certification.
* Responsible Persons badge.
* Wine knowledge is highly desirable; WSET or equivalent is an advantage.
