They provide legal services in a range of areas including medical and professional negligence, public liability, workers' compensation, motor vehicle accidents, wills and estates and estate disputes, and institutional abuse.
**About The Opportunity**:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Practice Lead (Medical Negligence) with delegated tasks in assigned matters as well as conducting your own assigned caseload under supervision in the area of medical and health-related negligence.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with other solicitors, barristers, and experts
- Drafting and collating briefs for barristers and experts
- Attending court, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Preparing matters for court hearings and settlement conferences
- Contributing to the development of the practice's knowledge base
- Preparation of written promotional materials, such as blogs and papers
**About You**:
- Bachelor of Law or similar qualification with 3+ years PAE
- Experience in personal injury or medical negligence claims
- Strong written communication and analytical skills
- High-level advocacy and interpersonal skills
You will also have:
- Confidence and willingness to promote the practice via various networks
- Knowledge of LEAP practice management software (Desirable)
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
