Overview
Here at Amazon we are currently seeking experienced Area Manager to join the team at our new Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Centre (FC) in Kemps Creek.
In this role you will support an Operations Manager by performing a variety of duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment fulfilling the customer promise while demonstrating the Amazon Leadership Principles.
You and your team of associates are responsible for getting Amazon customers their orders.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.

Please note the shift pattern is based on 4 days on and 3 days off, so flexibility is required as the site operates across 7 days.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates
Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area, while promoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on-site
Developing performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality
Collaborating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
Partnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
Reviewing work forecasts and determining requirements to meet daily and site objectives
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
3+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
Experience as a manager with sizable teams; strong ability to motivate others and build relationships
Problem-solving and analytical capabilities; ability to conduct and drive in-depth analysis on complex processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
Authorized to work in Australia without sponsorship
