Venue Manager Wild West Immersive Cocktail Experience
Moonshine Saloon Venue Manager: To provide an exceptional onsite customer experience by managing the team to deliver to the highest standards. This includes ensuring the bar manager and their team are set up to deliver high quality cocktails to patrons and ensuring the performance manager and their team are set up to deliver high quality theatrical performances.
Pay: $72,500 per year incl super + 10% bonus for 30 hours a week in a part time contract.
Roles and Responsibilities
To work Tuesday to Saturday "on site", at the venue, subject to company performance. Majority of hours are across Fri/Sat.
To create a positive guest experience by delivering and delegating a high level of service, and ensuring all staff immerse guests into the world of the experience. On top of this, ensuring all shows and turnarounds run on time.
To create a positive staff culture of fun, positivity and team work.
To deliver an arrival briefing to guests in small groups.
To follow processes if guests are behaving inappropriately to staff, potentially resulting in needing to ask them to leave the venue.
To assist in any area of the venue when required.
To maintain a birds eye view on the guest numbers each day, and to coordinate staff requirements with performance and bar managers.
Identifying team strengths in order to establish the best dynamics to ensure a great experience is delivered, and excellent service is consistently achieved.
Provide coaching, feedback and direction to staff, and assess performance against KPI's on an ongoing basis.
Consistently review venue operations and staffing to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement.
Works closely with performance and bar manager to drive continuous improvement of the experience.
Work with the bar manager to drive cost of goods sold (cocktail stock) down.
To manage the venue to meet and exceed standards in quality, safety and cleanliness. The manager will also be the fire warden.
To manage the venue dry cleaning requirements and security requirements.
* Being a people person is hugely important, both in terms of dealing with intoxicated and unreasonable guests, as well as bringing your fellow team mates together into a unit who enjoy working together, mainly made up of actors and cocktail mixologists.
* Handling pressure, remaining calm and making quick decisions is important too...be this a fire alarm going off during an experience or a mixologist not turning up for a shift or a guest acting inappropriately inside the venue despite having the rules explained to them on entrance.
* Hard working and having a strong drive is essential.
* You'll be our main point of contact in Brisbane, so pride in the venue cleanliness and upkeep is key too, treating it like your own.
