About the Company
We are now seeking an Engagement Manager in Health Economics & Market Access to join our collaborative and impact-driven team.
HTANALYSTS is a specialist consultancy in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), market access, and policy advisory. We work across healthcare, public health, and the broader social sector, generating compelling economic evidence that supports access to innovation and investment in better outcomes for people and communities. About the Role
As an Engagement Manager at HTANALYSTS, you will support the delivery of HEOR and market access projects from planning through to execution. You'll bring strong technical expertise in HEOR and project coordination to help ensure deliverables are of high quality, meet timelines, and address client needs. You may take the lead on client engagement during the course of a project where you are the project lead, and you may also contribute to mentoring or line management of junior staff, depending on your experience and interest. You'll work across a wide variety of health and social sector topics from HTA submissions to stakeholder engagement and broader impact assessments.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day project delivery across HEOR, market access, impact and patient engagement workstreams, in collaboration with senior staff.
* Lead and/or contribute to economic evaluations, including cost-effectiveness models, literature reviews, clinical research analysis and impact assessments.
* Coordinate with clients during projects you lead, providing clear and timely communication.
* Support junior team members through mentoring, coaching or line management, where appropriate.
* Ensure high-quality deliverables through effective oversight, internal review, and adherence to project timelines.
* Maintain accurate documentation and task management using Microsoft Planner.
* Identify and respond to potential project risks, escalating where needed and contributing to solutions.
Qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in health economics, economics, public health, Biomedical Sciences or related discipline. At least 5 years' experience in HEOR, consulting, academia, pharmaceutical/medtech or similar industry. Proven experience in HEOR methodologies and HTA submissions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage project tasks, deadlines, and communication in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with software such as Excel, R, SAS, or TreeAge
Required Skills
Experience mentoring or supervising team members. Familiarity with the Australian HTA environment (e.g. PBAC, MSAC). Experience in public health, impact assessment, or social sector evaluations.
