Remuneration: $56.98 - $58.83 + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging. Hours Per Week: 4. Location: Wilson Memorial Community Hospital. Closing Date: Monday, 15th June 2026.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will lead and support nursing education, professional development and clinical capability across Murrurundi Hospital. Working collaboratively with nursing staff, managers, multidisciplinary teams and students, you will promote evidence‐based practice and support the delivery of safe, high‐quality patient care. You will identify learning and development needs, coordinate and deliver education programs, support orientation and onboarding processes, facilitate competency assessments and provide coaching and mentorship to staff. You will also contribute to mandatory training compliance, quality improvement initiatives and the implementation of best‐practice programmes across the service. Through your leadership and support, you will play a key role in fostering a positive learning culture and ensuring staff have the knowledge, skills and confidence to meet the healthcare needs of the local community.
About You
We seek a motivated and approachable Registered Nurse who is passionate about supporting the learning and development of others.
You Will Bring
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
* Demonstrated clinical nursing experience and commitment to professional development
* Current NSW Working With Children Check
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the service area if required
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Sound clinical knowledge and commitment to evidence‐based practice
* Effective organisational and time management skills
* A collaborative approach to mentoring, coaching and supporting staff development
* A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and continuous learning
Desirable or Willingness to Work Towards
* Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Education, Nursing Education, Leadership or a related field
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent adult education qualification
* Qualifications or professional development in mentoring, clinical supervision, quality improvement or leadership
* Experience in workforce development, education programme coordination or project work
