You will conduct detailed analysis and generate insightful reports that influence the strategic direction of the section.You will work with internal stakeholders including Managers, Coordinators, the Contract Manager, and Administration Officers to ensure operational performance is monitored and improved through robust data analytics and reporting frameworks.Key responsibilities include:Leading regular reviews of systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.Coordinating and managing business improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.Monitoring and reporting on service unit outputs to support performance tracking and accountability.Supporting the development of policies through evidence-based insights.Investigating and implementing emerging technologies to optimise operations.Ensuring timely maintenance and troubleshooting of software and hardware to minimise downtime.This role is ideal for a proactive and analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about leveraging data to drive operational excellence.Position Description – please read to familiarise yourself with all requirements and conditions of the role.Salary: $104,541.32 - $117,368.68 + 12% SuperannuationQualifications and experienceTertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Waste/Resource Recovery/Environmental Science, or a related field and/or equivalent experience in data and business analysis.Strong analytical and data processing skills with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations.Experience with the business and data analysis requirements of Local Councils' Resource Recovery and Fleet Services.Experience with technology installation/configuration of software and hardware.EnquiriesNick Teoh, Coordinator Resource Recovery Contracts and Operations, (02) 9392 5014Closing DateSunday 28 September 2025, 11:30 PMInner West Council is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds.
