Maintenance Planner Role
You will be heavily involved in vendor management, purchasing and planning. This role ensures effective coordination and delivery of maintenance activities across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and schedule weekly maintenance activities through a computerized maintenance management system.
2. Coordinate contractor management, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
3. Manage purchasing, requisitions, and spare parts availability.
4. Prepare and oversee plant shutdowns and project-related works.
5. Partner with trades and production teams to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed on time and in full.
6. Develop and drive improvements in long-term maintenance strategies, focusing on reliability and overall equipment effectiveness.
Requirements:
* A trade qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
* Previous experience as a maintenance planner in food, pharmaceutical, packaging, or other complex manufacturing industries is essential.
* Strong knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems, preferably with MEX, Maximo, or SAP, is necessary.
* Demonstrated success in developing preventative maintenance systems is a must.
* Experience with vendor management and oversight of inventory functions is required.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to reliability improvement are essential.
