Lecturer/Senior Lecturer - Project Management
Join CQUniversity as a Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) in the School of Engineering and Technology, focusing on Project and Construction Management.
Base Pay Range
A$162,470.00/yr – A$184,987.00/yr
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‐quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including online and blended delivery.
* Supervise research students and contribute to impactful research aligned with the School's strengths.
* Support curriculum development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
* Engage with industry and professional bodies, fostering collaborations and enhancing the School's research profile.
* Collaborate across teams and disciplines to promote a positive academic culture and facilitate interdisciplinary research.
Qualifications and Requirements
* PhD qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in designing and delivering student‐centred teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
* Teaching qualifications or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education.
* Strong supervision capability with Higher Degree by Research candidates and a commitment to developing future researchers.
* A growing (Level B) or established (Level C) track record of research outputs, industry collaboration, and external funding success.
* (For Level C) National recognition for research leadership, including success in securing competitive research grants, mentoring early‐career academics, and leading multidisciplinary projects.
* Professional Certificate in Project Management (PMP), PRINCE2 Certificate or willingness to achieve these certificates (desirable).
* Industry‐engaged experience, including use of project‐management frameworks and communication with popular media (desirable).
* Membership in the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is desirable.
