Recent Dawn Housing are expanding and looking for an Operations Coordinator. We are registered Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) providers with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has clients with disabilities, each has a plan, with a budget for support and accommodation. SDA is an annual payment scheme by the NDIA to make it attractive for investors to build accommodation for people with disability in Australia.
Role
You will be the Operations Coordinator. Your responsibilities are:
- Liaise with Supported Independent Living Providers, support coordinators and tenants regarding our available projects.
- Assist with managing the tenant’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Allowance and rent payments.
- Manage the allocated properties of tenants and any contact regarding the dwelling.
- Inspections of the allocated tenant properties.
- Network and organise events to spread awareness of our available projects.
- Organise open days and tours for tenants, guardians, family, Support Coordinators and SIL Providers to inspect our homes.
- Help market New Dawn Housing projects through social media, online vacancy matching platforms and other avenues.
- Manage incoming and outgoing e-mail communications.
- Ensure that there is appropriate and correct record keeping.
- Practise office management.
In this role you have the opportunity to grow with the business. You will have high exposure with property management, NDIS and specialist accommodation for people with disability.
What Experience And Skills Are We Looking For?
For the Operations Coordinator role we are looking for:
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Proficient with Mac and Windows computers.
- Ability with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with social media platforms.
- A passion for disability and eagerness to learn more about the industry.
What will make you stand out:
- Relevant university education is not compulsory but desirable.
- Experience and/or knowledge with the NDIS, in particular Specialist Disability Accommodation, Supported Independent Living and Support Coordination.
- Experience and/or knowledge in Property Management.
