Job Title: Configuration and Assurance Manager

Randstad Defence is partnering with a leading defence organisation to secure exceptional talent for a key maritime construction project in South Australia. We are seeking an experienced Configuration and Assurance Manager who specialises in developing and maintaining a Configuration Management Plan.

The plan will be used by the Infrastructure Team and coordinated with internal and external stakeholders. A key part of the plan involves Requirements Management through application of systems engineering principles to manage infrastructure and equipment functional requirements while providing leadership, guidance, and support to the team.


About the Role:

* Develop and maintain a Configuration Management Plan for the Infrastructure Team.
* Establish and manage configuration baselines for documents within a document management system and infrastructure requirements within a requirements management database.
* Develop processes for the Infrastructure Team to undertake Assurance of infrastructure design and construction against functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver Configuration Management products and services, including processes, plans, and tools for managing project information.
* Support Engineering Leads to achieve required outcomes.
* Keep CM documents and processes up to date and ensure delivery of activities in support of closure of Corrective Actions.
* Manage the Configuration Control Board and Engineering Review Boards, including minutes, action tracking, and reporting.
* Develop and implement Systems Engineering principles within the team.
* Establish templates and tools for undertaking requirements development, management, communication, and delivery to customers.
* Support the professional development of the Infrastructure Team in Systems Engineering practices.


About You:

* You must be an Australian citizen to hold and maintain an Australian NV1 Security Clearance.
* You should have a relevant qualification in Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, or equivalent.
* You should have at least 5 years of experience in Configuration Management and/or Systems Engineering.
* You should be proficient in management methodologies, including work scheduling, prioritising, coaching, and process execution.
* You should have advanced knowledge of configuration management techniques, particularly in a Defence environment.
* You should be familiar with configuration management practices and standards such as EIA-649.
* You should be familiar with Systems Engineering practices and standards such as INCOSE Certification.
