All funds raised by the Foundation are put towards medical equipment and patient care services, to fund research and provide scholarships for the staff and support staff wellbeing.
The Foundation is dedicated to growing the scale and impact of the Foundation. With the goal to significantly increase fundraising with the community and corporate partners, this role will play a critical part in achieving that vision.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Director of the Western Health Foundation, you will be responsible for driving and developing strong donor communications for ongoing engagement, including regular EDMs, newsletters, website content and social media content. You will plan, develop and deliver communications and marketing plans for all Western Health Foundation's fundraising activities and work in close collaboration with the Foundation Director to focus on WHF strategic outcomes.
In this role, you will manage WHF's brand, identify new and innovative approaches to improve communications and marketing, and lead the development of WHF collateral including website content, brochures, pitch materials and supporting key messaging and templates. You will also work with Western Health's Public Affairs team and engage with team members to ensure fundraising activities, communications and growth activities are on track to achieve budget targets.
**Skills & Experience**
- 3+ years of marketing and communications experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and network with a range of people from all walks of life.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in planning and delivering activities and multi-channel campaigns.
- Digital marketing experience, including EDM and social media.
- CMS and CRM experience, Wagtail & Salesforce desirable
- Strong organisation skills including project management and budget management.
- Experience using Hootsuite (desirable).
- Experience in achieving success as part of a team as well as individually.
- Fundraising experience, especially in appeals, desirable
