**We are seeking a customer-focused individual for this role, as it involves extensive interaction with our homeowners. You should have a personality that thrives on providing solutions and enjoys helping our homeowners feel comfortable and satisfied with the maintenance work.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide maintenance and handyperson services to residents within GemLife communities.
- Perform general hands-on maintenance tasks including minor painting and plaster repairs, door hanging, and fixing locks and windows.
- Conduct 12-month inspections on new properties.
- Ensure all work complies with QBCC guidelines and tolerances.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a personable approach with residents.
- Liaise with various trades as needed.
- Utilise hand-held and battery-operated tools effectively.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- General maintenance and handyperson skills.
- Proficiency in minor painting and plaster repairs, door hanging, and other general maintenance tasks.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact well with residents.
- Trade qualifications in carpentry or painting are advantageous, but not essential.
- No plumbing or electrical work required.
