Medical Receptionist- Start with us in the new year
Hours: Part Time to Full Time based on work performance

Key Responsibilities
Greets patients in person and on the phone, answers questions, and provides directions.
Scheduling
Manages appointment schedules for doctors and other healthcare providers to optimize patient flow.
Record Management
Updates and retrieves patient records, ensuring accuracy and maintaining confidentiality.
Administrative Tasks
Performs various clerical duties such as managing mail/email, filing, and data entry.
Office Operations
Maintains medical supplies and equipment, keeps the reception area tidy, and handles incoming deliveries.
Communication
Acts as a liaison between patients, providers, and other medical staff to facilitate information exchange.
Communication Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for interacting with patients and colleagues.
Organization
Excellent organizational skills are needed to manage complex scheduling and patient records.
Customer Service
A compassionate and professional demeanor is necessary for creating a positive patient experience.
Technical Proficiency
Familiarity with computer systems, medical terminology, and administrative software is often required.
Experience with Genie/FYDO medical practice management software is preferred, but not required.
Attention to Detail
Meticulous attention to detail ensures accurate record-keeping and efficient operations.
Discretion
The ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially and professionally is vital.
Year 12 Completion
Year 12 completion is required as the minimum education level.
