We're seeking an accomplished Production Engineering Professional to contribute to the optimization of safe, efficient, and sustainable production outcomes in an underground gold operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Optimize stope and drill designs to maximize recovery and maintain safety standards.
* Develop and issue drilling, charging, and backfilling plans, ensuring quality and compliance.
* Collaborate closely with geology, geotechnical, and planning teams to enhance mining performance.
* Monitor mine plan execution, data analysis, and continuous improvement across production activities.
* Conduct ventilation surveys and contribute to short-term scheduling and project work.
About You
* You must have a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
* You should have experience in mechanized underground mining.
* You must be proficient in Deswik software (VentSim is desirable).
* You should have strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
* You need practical underground experience sufficient for WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate requirements.
