Technical Leadership Opportunity
You will lead a dynamic team responsible for the core of our funding platform, ensuring the system maintains exceptional uptime and performance. The team drives innovation by building new features on an event-driven architecture deployed in Kubernetes clusters.
As a technical leader, you will tackle complex data engineering challenges that enable flexible funding solutions for customers. Your team designs scalable solutions to handle massive data volumes while maintaining sub-second response times and 99.99% uptime SLAs.
About the Role

* Drive technical vision and roadmap for your team's services, providing strong technical leadership and remaining hands-on with code.
* Lead by example through pair programming, code reviews, and technical spikes to solve complex engineering challenges.
Responsibilities
1. Manage a cross-functional Scrum team of engineers, supporting their professional development.
2. Implement advanced architectural patterns like event sourcing and distributed tracing to build resilient, performant systems.
3. Partner with product teams and stakeholders to define and deliver roadmaps that delight customers, enable business growth, and ensure technical excellence.
4. Maintain sustainable delivery practices while balancing the needs of your team, stakeholders, and the platform services you own.
5. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery capabilities, technical processes, and operational assets.
Requirements
* 10+ years of software development experience.
* 2+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
* Strong technical leadership with demonstrable achievements in architecture, solution design, development, and scaled cloud delivery.
* Deep expertise in modern software engineering practices, cloud platforms, and DevOps approaches including test and deployment automation.
Technology Stack
* .NET/C#.
* Cloud-native development experience including Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, Containerisation, Event Streaming with Kafka.
* A deep understanding on how to build Data Intensive applications at scale.
