Community Kitchen Coordinator
The Community Kitchen Coordinator oversees the preparation of all food and catering orders, manages kitchen stocks, supervises kitchen staff, and ensures they work safely at all times.
The role incorporates a focus on including traditional foods in menus and adheres to Healthy Catering Standards.
Main Responsibilities:

* Supervise and ensure safe working practices among kitchen staff
Focusing on Traditional Foods:
Incorporating traditional foods into menus is a key aspect of this role. The successful candidate will have knowledge of traditional foods and be able to incorporate them into meal planning and preparation.

Key Selection Criteria:
* Experience in commercial kitchen operations
* Experience in managing food safety requirements
* Experience in supervising staff
* Knowledge of traditional foods
* A commitment to providing inclusive services to Aboriginal people
Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Other Requirements:
* A current Driver's License that allows you to drive in Australia
* A current Employee Working with Children Check card
* A current National Police Check
* COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate or valid medical exemption
