About the Role:
This Senior Solicitor position plays a critical role in providing legal services to clients in Orange and surrounding regions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex family law and care and protection matters, as well as supervising junior lawyers and mentoring their development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert legal advice and support to clients
* Supervising and guiding junior lawyers
* Collaborating with stakeholders to manage the family law practice
* Identifying systemic issues affecting vulnerable clients and contributing to law reform initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have advanced people management skills, effective communication and problem-solving skills, and experience handling complex legal matters in both care and protection and family jurisdictions.
A strong understanding of the unique challenges facing families and children in regional areas is also essential.
The successful applicant must be admitted or eligible for admission as a legal practitioner in NSW and hold a valid driver's licence.
