Key Responsibilities
* Undertake tasks and duties as directed by Production Supervision or Trades Trainer within the bounds of your current ~/.competence.
* Attend and complete relevant on‐the‐job training as required.
* Properly maintain materials, tools, and equipment.
* Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in your work area.
* Adhere to the BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.
About You
* Experience in fabrication with MIG or flux core welding.
* Ability to read drawings.
* Strong safety focus and a desire to enhance the site safety environment.
* Strong time‐keeping abilities.
* Excellent communication skills.
Clearances
As a Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role, applicants must have the right to work in Australia, be eligible to obtain and maintain NSSIC and ITAR clearances.
Relocation & Compensation
* Flight to Adelaide for successful candidate.
* Temporary accommodation (up to 4 weeks).
* 'Homesearch' Program – a virtual program that helps you select a suburb and assists with your rental application.
* $7,500 AUD (before tax) paid in the first pay period after commencement.
* Two days paid relocation leave (within the first 4 weeks).
* Commencement rate – $49.45 AUD.
