Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior or Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our Building Services department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management and estimating services on a range of commercial, residential, and data centre projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Budgeting and Cost Planning:
2. Prepare detailed budgets and cost plans for early-stage project developments.
3. Undertake detailed take-offs and Bills of Quantities for tender documentation.
4. Manage cost control, value management, and risk analysis processes throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Develop and maintain project benchmarking data to ensure optimal performance.
6. Support construction phase activities, including progress claims and variation assessments.
7. Contribute to client presentations and industry events to showcase your expertise.
8. Tech Expertise:
9. Maintain strong technical knowledge in budgeting, estimating, tender analysis, and contract administration.
10. Familiarity with local construction markets, pricing, and procurement methods is highly regarded.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems is essential.
12. Education and Qualifications:
13. Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) are required.
14. Possession of relevant industry certifications and registrations is highly advantageous.
