That's just one of the many ways in which we create a connection with our communities.As the Site Manager of our Burren Junction grain storage and distribution site, you'll supervise a small team of Grain Handlers and perform a wide range of activities involved in the safe and efficient receival, storage and outload of commodities:Coordinate day-to-day activities of the team; coach and support development of team membersGet to know, understand and apply our enterprise agreement and people processesDevelop and maintain close relationships with local growers, customers, and the local communityCoordinate and prepare for area maintenance and pest control teams to deliver required servicesIdentify and report on maintenance requirements and maintain site presentation and standardsManage programmes and initiatives related to safety ('zero harm' culture) and risk management.Our busiest time of the year is the annual post-winter harvest period, which can last for up to three months and involves managing several harvest casuals and contractors in receiving thousands of tonnes of grain from local growers.
