ARA Electrical is a leading provider of electrical contracting services across NSW, delivering high-quality construction, maintenance and infrastructure projects for both government and private sector clients. As we continue to expand our ASP capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to support the delivery of our ASP1 Construction & ASP2 Service works.
About the Role
The Electrical Foreman will provide frontline leadership across ARA Electrical's ASP projects, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy standards. This is a hands-on site-based role overseeing day-to-day construction activities, coordinating work teams, and maintaining strong communication with project management and network authorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily site operations for ASP1 Construction & ASP2 Service works.
* Lead, mentor and direct ARA Electrical site crews, apprentices and subcontractors.
* Ensure all works are completed in compliance with network provider requirements, project specifications, and WHS obligations.
* Manage work sequencing, resource allocation, and site readiness.
* Conduct quality inspections, check measurements, and complete relevant project documentation.
* Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to support planning, scheduling and progress reporting.
* Liaise with clients, network representatives and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
* Maintain a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement on-site.
About You
* NSW Licensed Electrician with demonstrated experience in ASP electrical construction.
* 3+ years' experience delivering ASP1 / ASP2 works in a supervisory or foreman capacity.
* Strong working knowledge of Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and/or Essential Energy standards.
* Proven ability to lead site teams and manage workflow in a fast-paced project environment.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to interpret drawings, network designs and construction specifications.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence, White Card and relevant industry tickets (EWP, First Aid etc.).
