WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The Supply and Distribution Manager will provide logistics support to Bankstown and Richmond Operations, overseeing stores, inventory, and supplies management daily.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and accurate control of stores for all inventory items, including inspection, receipt, and proper tracking to meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage and control equipment supporting all aircraft under certified air control or ownership.
- Ensure equipment is operational, managing periodic calibration and testing as required.
- Order and replenish inventory levels as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to the Stores department.
- Satisfy the position requirements of Stores Coordinator as per CA CASR Part 145 AMO Maintenance Organisation Exposition and Engineering Procedures Manual.
- Monitor and replenish non-aircraft inventory such as office supplies and consumables.
- Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies aligned with aircraft maintenance schedules and operational goals to ensure readiness and efficiency.
- Forecast parts demand and plan inventory based on maintenance schedules, fleet utilization, and lead times to prevent downtime.
- Coordinate with engineering, planning, and maintenance teams for procurement and logistics aligned with maintenance events, modifications, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with CASA and other regulatory requirements for storage, traceability, shelf-life, and certification of aircraft parts and materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit readiness for supply chain and distribution processes.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 2 years in a similar role.
- Experience in warehousing and inventory management, including receiving, dispatch, freight handling, purchasing, and stock issuing.
- Aviation experience is preferred.
