We are a small boutique accounting practice in Victoria Park looking for an experienced accountant to join our staff of 10.
Required qualifications
Proficient in MYOB/AO/AE or Xero or Handisoft and BGL
Degree level qualification
Experience and Responsibilities
Assisting in formulating budgetary & accounting policies & maintaining internal controls
Conducting financial investigations, preparing reports, undertaking audits & advising on matters such as the purchase & sale of businesses, mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud, insolvency & taxation
Preparing financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders & governing & statutory bodies
Examining operating costs & organisations' income & expenditure
Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports & their compliance with statutory requirements
Providing financial & taxation advice on business structures, plans & operations
Preparing taxation returns for individuals & organisations
