**About the Role**:
This is a full time, permanent role, reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications. Seeking the expertise of a passionate communications professional, ideally with broad experience to join our hands on team.
This role is responsible for external and internal communications, content development, event management and social media, key responsibilities include:
- The creation of internal and external communications strategies to support business initiatives
- Delivering on these strategies with clear and targeted communications to get the right messages to the right people at the right time
- Producing proactive, high quality and purposeful content for various channels including media The creation of regular and tailored collateral that both informs and engages a wide range of audiences including our workforce
- Building relationships with key internal stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of effective and inclusive internal communications
- Managing the news items on the intranet and ensuring effective and coordinated internal communications to the business
- Managing the social media platforms with engaging content in keeping with the brand
**About you**:
- Tertiary qualified in public relations, communications or a related field
- At least four years of work experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in internal and external communications - being agile enough to meet the needs of a growing business and skilled enough to be consistent through times of change
- Thorough understanding of, and interest in, social media and the online space
- Proven ability to network effectively and build relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail and passion for delivering engaging content across various channels
- Competency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- High quality administration/coordination skills
- Flexible attitude and ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team
- Ability to organise multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
