Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage a key cabinet maker portfolio across the Gold Coast. This role suits someone from building materials, construction, or commercial projects who enjoys managing established accounts while developing stronger relationships.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of cabinetmaker accounts delivering significant commercial projects. This role is not a cold-calling BDM position; instead, it is a relationship-driven commercial sales role focused on account management, project tracking, and specification conversion. This role had the added benefit of being field based with remote working and comes with a fully maintained company vehicle.
What we are looking for
* Experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or BDM within construction or building materials
* Strong understanding of commercial construction and project lifecycles
* Proven ability to manage major accounts and long term customers
* Existing industry relationships (highly advantageous)
* Self motivation and confidence working remotely and independently
