About the opportunity
The role is a 30‑hour, full‑time fixed‑term position with a start date of 19 January 2026 and ending 26 June 2026. The position will run until the end of Term 2 with a salary of $86,601 – $124,725 per annum plus super (commensurate with experience).

Responsibilities
* Create a nurturing, ordered learning environment that is learner‑centred, supportive, cooperative and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices.
* Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programmes and appropriate pedagogy; evaluate effectiveness; assess and report student progress and learning outcomes to students, parents and the community.
* Work with the leadership team, teachers and other staff to contribute to the professional life of the school and foster a positive school culture.
* Engage proactively with professional learning to enhance student outcomes.
* Establish positive relationships in the pastoral care of students, supporting their spiritual and moral development.
* Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
Qualifications & Experience
* Supporting teachers: Relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
o Creating a supportive, learner‑focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
o Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programmes in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
o Commitment to engage with colleagues, students and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes.
o Passion to support students' spiritual and moral development.
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
* Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
