Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled leader to drive excellence in freshwater aquaculture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) and a proven track record of leading complex operations.
About the Role:
* Lead freshwater site performance with a focus on fish health, welfare, and growth.
* Set and manage operational budgets, KPI's, and capital allocation.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to proactively identify and address challenges.
* Provide technical leadership on freshwater strategy and systems performance.
* Develop site managers and succession plans through coaching, mentoring and leadership.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and safety obligations.
* Represent the organization in industry forums, committees, and regulatory engagement.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Science, Aquaculture, and Business are desirable, or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience and technical expertise in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).
* Demonstrated leadership in complex, large scale operations.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities.
* Commercial mindset with a hands-on pragmatic approach.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
