**The Prospect**:
We have an exciting prospect for an experienced Planning & Inventory Analyst to join our national parts team based in Fairfield, NSW, on a full-time contract. Reporting to the National Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Fast-moving parts availability of 98% while reducing overall inventory value and financial MOH reduction targets.
- Management of SPM (Serviced Parts Management) System recommendations to monitor SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) flagged by review reasons.
- Assist in using and maintaining a thorough understanding of Demand Planning Systems and analytical and Master Data tools to maintain control and visibility of robust supply.
- Conduct Sales & Operations Processes (S&OP;) to obtain necessary data from Regional Parts & IPG Teams to optimise purchase recommendations.
- Generate accurate reports and ensure reliable data publication on Forecasts, Accuracy, Inventory Management and critical stock report, backorders, inbound shipment & cost reconciliation, and OTIF, as well as ad-hoc reporting.
- Conduct lead time analysis, provide recommendations and implement changes to achieve improved Lead Time accuracy metrics
- Maintained monthly inventory reports, relying strongly on data and data visualisation to provide regular standard reports and clear outcomes of improvement projects and opportunities for improvement.
- Execute projects to reduce cost, improve service level, optimise inventory and extract value for the Supply Chain
- To continuously enhance forecasting accuracy using historical data and other insights gained through regular communication with the broader team, the stores, and stakeholders across the business
- To run forecast reports and agree on realignments or cancellations to ensure proactive and correct prioritisation of requirements for optimal customer service and inventory levels

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Tertiary Qualification or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or similar
- Demonstrated Inventory Management experience (min 2 years).
- Intrinsically motivated with proven time management skills to prioritise and deliver routine tasks
- Strong excel & power point skills, MS Access
- Sound knowledge of MRP system calculations
- Ability to work autonomously as well as be a team player.
- Solution-orientated with a positive attitude to deliver accurate results on time
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with personnel at all levels
- High-level attention to detail and proven data entry accuracy and integrity
- Experience with Quality Control tools (desirable but not essential as in-house training provided)
