Disaster Recovery Specialist
The key responsibility of this role is to develop and implement disaster recovery strategies that ensure business continuity across the organisation. This involves proactively managing business disruption risks, ensuring effective response and recovery from incidents.
* Drive organisational resilience by fostering a proactive culture, influencing stakeholders to understand the importance of disaster recovery planning.
* Maintain close working relationships with various teams, including Emergency Management, Incident Management (IMT), Risk Management, Procurement, Disaster Recovery and IT Major Incident Management Teams.
* Evaluate and maintain the business continuity framework, including Business Continuity Plans, Business Impact Analysis data, BCP testing regime and performance metrics.
* Ensure continuous improvement by translating lessons learned into actionable improvements in capability and responsiveness.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Prior experience in business continuity or disaster recovery roles.
* Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
