**Client Engagement Team Leader**
We at **Chandler Macleod** have an exciting new opportunity for unique and rewarding Team Leading position. Our state-owned client provides an integral role for Victorians who, due to mental illness, injury or disability, are unable to independently manage their own financial and/or legal affairs.
The right person for this role will be **people and client centric**, have demonstrated experience of **coaching and leading new and existing team members**, and have a passion for raising awareness and educating the community on issues including the importance of wills and preventing financial elder abuse, financial security, management of legal interests and access to entitled benefits.
**Purpose of Role**
The primary purpose of the **Client Engagement TL **is to ensure we visit each existing client at least once every three years.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Client Engagement Program
- Leading a team of Senior Consultants and Consultants
- Deliver expectations of Program, clients and participate in visits with Team on occasion
- Provide leadership, training and support, coaching, learning and development
- Facilitate exceptional client service delivery and high performance
- Provide insight, analysis and reporting feedback
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience requirements**
**Essential**:
- Tertiary qualification in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, including managing and leading high-performance and dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and coach people
- Comprehensive understanding of the needs, rights, and issues of people with a disability
- Experience in financial administration and/or the ability to work under legislative requirements, with intermediate financial analytic skills
- Well-developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to inform decision making while showing empathy and compassion
- Well-developed active listening and professional communication skills (written and spoken) including demonstrated ability to prepare commercial standard correspondence, reports and recommendations and the ability to deal sensitively with challenging situations and difficult conversations.
- Intermediate computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- Ability to collaborate proactively within teams and across functions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in driving efficiency and improvements in processes and systems
- Demonstrated change management skills

- Experience managing budgets and/or being responsible for finances
