We are seeking a reliable and experienced heavy plant operator to join our team on the Liddell Power Station decommissioning project in Muswellbrook. As a key member of our demolition crew, you will be responsible for operating excavators and specialized attachments on this high-profile project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate 25t+ excavators and specialist equipment (shears, grabs, hammers, pulverisers) on demolition projects
* Participate in structural demolition, bulk earthworks, and site remediation tasks
* Conduct daily pre-start inspections and report any hazards or issues
* Work collaboratively with our team in a safety-driven environment
* Maintain high standards of safety and environmental compliance throughout the project
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience operating heavy plant machinery
* Proven experience in industrial demolition or scrap yard operations is essential
* You must hold a valid White Card, RII & Demolition Course Certificate
* A strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols is required
