About the Role
The Senior FP&A Analyst supports the University's financial planning, reporting and analysis activities to enable informed decision‐making and long‐term financial health. The role contributes to enterprise‐wide budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting, working closely with senior stakeholders across the University.
Role responsibilities include:
* Contribute to the design and delivery of enterprise financial performance reporting for senior leadership.
* Support development and maintenance of financial models across operating, capital, cash, workforce and revenue planning.
* Coordinate enterprise budgeting and forecasting activities, including consolidated budgets and reforecasts.
* Provide financial analysis, scenario modelling and sensitivity testing to support strategic decisions.
* Partner with finance and business stakeholders to improve financial insights, data integrity and reporting processes.
* Support continuous improvement of financial planning, reporting systems and analytics capability.
About You
* Strong analytical capability with ability to interpret complex financial information.
* Proficiency in financial systems and tools, including TM1 and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‐financial stakeholders.
* Collaborative approach to working with senior leaders and cross‐functional teams.
* Commitment to process improvement and system optimisation.
* Knowledge of contemporary financial practices and technologies relevant to higher education.
Experience
* Experience in financial planning and analysis within a complex organisation.
* Involvement in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
* Experience supporting or contributing to financial systems integration and automation.
* Experience working with senior stakeholders in a business partnering context.
Qualifications
Qualification through an internationally recognised professional accounting body, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $140,965 - $147,678 (HEW9) plus 17% superannuation (pension).
The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
