We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team and contribute to delivering consistently high-quality, flavourful dishes that reflect our modern Australian menu. This is a full-time role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, day-service environment and brings creativity, precision, and strong leadership to the kitchen.
- Plan, prepare, and cook menu items with consistency and efficiency
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations during service
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations are followed
- Train and support junior kitchen staff
- Assist in menu development and cost control
Candidate Requirements:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in a similar café or restaurant setting
- Strong understanding of Australian cuisine and contemporary food trends
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards
