We are partnered with a State Government organisation in Oxley to recruit a Rostering Officer for a three-month assignment with the possibility of extension.
Your new role
Join this State Government organisation to provide essential rostering and administrative services to Centre staff. This three-month assignment involves:
* Developing, establishing, and maintaining staff rosters to ensure efficient shift coverage during leave and training, and filling vacant shifts daily.
* Researching, establishing, and maintaining a thorough understanding of current legislation and awards.
* Liaising with managers and relevant stakeholders to accurately capture staff movements.
* Providing informed and accurate advice and support on all rostering and leave matters.
* Developing and maintaining accurate data, recording systems, and reports.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A current Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.
* Experience in a rostering position within a large organisation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and systems such as Emplive, Aurion, Excel, and idocs.
* The ability to work effectively in a complex and demanding environment.
* A high level of attention to detail, creative thinking, and collaboration skills.
* Demonstrated experience of accurately interpreting and entering data.
