Work Schedule
* 46‐hour fortnight schedule:
o Week 1: 14:30 – 20:00 Mon‐Thu
o Week 2: 14:30 – 20:00 Tue‐Thu, 6:45 – 14:45 Friday*
* 56‐hour fortnight schedule:
o Week 1 & 2: 6:45 – 14:45 Tue‐Thu; 14:30 – 20:00 Friday
Responsibilities
* Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc.
* Provide life engagement.
* Support residents with varying levels of dementia.
* Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in the conditions of residents within your skills and competencies.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Genuine passion for serving elderly people and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
* Flexibility and ability to commit to a range of shifts including nights & weekends.
* Team‐work skills with the ability to work independently and show initiative.
* Knowledge and experience of people living with Dementia and their needs.
* Applicants with Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care will be viewed favourably.
* All new staff will complete an onsite orientation with a Workplace Trainer, have buddy shifts and be supported by experienced Registered Nurses and Managers on site.
* All short‐listed applicants will be asked to consent to a criminal record check, pre‐employment medical assessment, and complete a NDIS Worker's Screening check.
