About the Position
Mission Foods is currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Human Resources Officer, to support our HR Department. Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, this is a 6-month maternity leave cover. This varied role will require you to work in a busy, results driven environment, managing the daily operational challenges with a 'can do' approach.
The key duties of this role are:
* Managing end to end recruitment process including contract generation, onboarding, and inductions, off-boarding and other HR related activities.
* Tracking, maintaining and collating HR metrics including headcount, turnover, leave, and attrition rates to help drive strategic initiatives.
* Participation in internal and external audit process; ensuring compliance with all HR requirements.
* Managing projects and initiatives including rolling out Employee Engagement and other Surveys, providing relevant training and ongoing support to management.
To be successful, you will have:
* Proven ability to interact positively with a wide variety of stakeholders with confidentiality, professionalism and discretion.
* Tertiary qualification in HR or Business related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience working in a medium to large organisation.
* Exceptional communication and administrative skills including strong research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Professional, confident and enthusiastic approach to your work with a demonstrated drive and initiative.
* Ability to manage competing and/or changing priorities and deadlines.
* Advanced IT skills with accurate typing and data entry.
