Job Description:
Maintaining accounts receivable is a vital function that involves managing the flow of money in and out of an organization. This includes tasks such as receipting, invoicing, banking, eftpos transactions, BPay transactions, and family payments.
The person in this role will be responsible for daily banking reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records. They will also maintain and reconcile school income against family statements, including CSEF, conveyance, and other family support processes where applicable.
This role requires the ability to enter and retrieve data from various systems, including CASES 21, Compass, and QKR, to obtain reports and track financial information. The successful candidate will need to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families regarding their accounts.
In addition to these tasks, the person in this role will be responsible for entering and maintaining accounts for hire of College facilities, such as Stadium, Auditorium, Fields, etc. They will also ensure all relevant financial reports are checked and any discrepancies investigated and reported to the Business Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of knowledge and experience in DE management systems, including Cases21 Finance and Administration, eduPay, and Compass. They will be able to provide advice, information, and recommendations to the Business Manager on operational issues relating to finance and administrative systems.
A key requirement for this role is the ability to work independently and constructively within a busy team environment. The person in this position will need to possess excellent organisational and planning skills, as well as high level interpersonal skills, including the capacity to develop collaborative relationships with colleagues, students, and parents/carers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
