Job Description:
* Working closely with Area General Managers of both properties, this role is instrumental in developing and driving financial acumen, upholding governance standards, and balancing the books to meet ownership group expectations.
* Overseeing operational accounting functions
* Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
* Ensuring regulatory and internal compliance
* Conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
* Driving best practice initiatives across finance function

About You:
* Lead a team via professional effectiveness including daily management, training and motivation
* Manage hotel contracts such as vendor leases and service contracts in collaboration with Area Purchasing Manager
* Review accounting practices for alignment with guest experience
* Promote collaboration and effective communication among department heads and peers
* Timely month-end processes and cash flow management
* Oversight of accounts receivable, payable, and payroll
* Reconciliations and year-end financial tasks
* Provide impactful financial models and deliver essential analysis for strategic decisions
* Work with tax and audit advisors for compliance and manage relationships effectively
* Ensure that profits are protected through effective budgetary controls and expenditure procedures
* Monitor and interpret financial performance and make recommendations
