We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Longreach. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals with mild to moderate mental health needs, making a real difference in rural and remote communities.
About the Position
* This is a permanent, full-time role working from Brisbane to Longreach, offering a 12-day on and 9-day off rotation.
Main Responsibilities
* The ideal candidate will be responsible for intake and triage processes, conducting holistic clinical assessments, and developing recovery-focused treatment plans.
* Culturally appropriate clinical interventions will be delivered to individuals, families, and groups, ensuring continuity of care through close collaboration with other service providers.
* Regular case reviews will also be an essential aspect of this role.
Requirements
* A qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing is required.
* Registration with AHPRA or membership with the AASW is also mandatory.
* A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience is necessary for this position.
